Golang Job: Senior Golang Backend Engineer - Site Reliability(

We are looking for a Senior Golang Software Engineer (f/m/d) to join our Site Reliability Engineering team, and work on global strategic initiatives aiming to develop state-of-the-art tools and services for the organization. Your Mission:

SRE department is built on principles described in https://sre.google/ and its culture of diversity, intellectual curiosity, problem solving and openness is key to its success. You will have the opportunity to manage the complex challenges of scale which are unique to Delivery Hero, while using your expertise in coding, algorithms, analysis, troubleshooting, large-scale system design and implementation.

You will be responsible for designing and implementing tools and services from scratch that are instrumental in establishing and expanding our SRE culture of driving transformational innovation in reliability and efficiency that compliantly delivers out-of-the-box incident management, alerting strategy, and other reliability and reporting practices.

Your customers are thousands of software engineers distributed worldwide, from Buenos Aires, to Berlin, Istanbul, Dubai, Singapore, and Seoul. You will work closely together with the Developer Productivity department to integrate your tools and products into the overall developer experience, as well as the Infrastructure teams.

Your Heroic Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in a production environment with sound Golang skills including algorithms & data structures fundamentals.

• Experience in building large-scale distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and scalable microservices used by thousands of users

• Experience in secure and clean coding, solid principles, resilient architectures

• Experience working with RDBMS, NoSql databases, and stream processing

• Know-how on Linux-based environments, and internet/network fundamentals

• Experience working with Docker and container orchestration technologies

• Experience working with one or more Cloud Platforms (AWS, GCP)

• Experience in end-to-end product development, architecting, developing, testing, tuning/profiling, delivering, system monitoring

• Cultivating collaboration, mentoring, training, and code reviewing

• Experience working with scripting languages like Python, is a plus

• Familiarity with SRE practices such as incident management, alerting, reliability, and reporting, is a plus

• Full professional English proficiency and good communication skills.
